Data Forensics now plays a vital role within both criminal and
civil investigations. Nobody should overlook the enormous potential
offered by evidence stored within digital media, portable digital
devices and conventional computers.
Fulcrum Data Forensics Ltd is a new
company run by professionals who have a wealth of experience within
the arena of both data forensics and criminal law enforcement. We
fully understand the unique nature of digital evidence and always
comply with the latest best practices and methodologies. At the same
time, we comprehend the need for plain English and clear reporting
when dealing with clients who simply need our assistance in
establishing the facts of a case.
The widespread use of information technology, both privately
and within the workplace, has lead to data forensics playing
a vital
role within a wide range of investigations:

Pat has over fifteen years experience within the law enforcement
arena. Starting out within a local Trading Standards Department,
he went onto establish the UK's first computer forensic facility
dedicated to assisting the consumer protection profession. A secondment

counterfeit software case lead to him receiving a commendation.
Pat later moved to the Office of Fair Trading, setting up a new
computer forensics unit within the Competition Enforcement Team.
Investigating illegal price fixing, bid rigging and market sharing,
Pat gained valuable experience in dealing with large corporate
IT networks. 2005 saw a move to an international firm of Risk Consultants,
working both in support of the law enforcement community and assisting
clients with internal investigations.

Nigel has 27 year's experience within law enforcement and in 2000
was seconded to the Trading Standards South East Computer Forensic
Facilty. He is a CIFA Certified Forensic Investigation Analyst
